Welcome to Lazarus Mission. We are the Booth family, and our journey to creating this mission is one guided by faith and built on years of dedicated service on the mission field.

When Jesus called Lazarus from the grave, He not only raised him from the dead, He unbound him and set him free to walk in new life. That same resurrecting power is what fuels our mission.
A LIFELESS CHURCH CAME TO LIFE
Lazarus Mission was born from our own miraculous experience on the mission field, where we saw Jesus call a lifeless church in a broken city to come to life in Him. We have witnessed first-hand His resurrecting power over that community, setting people free to walk victoriously in Him.
We believe God has a fruitful and abundant future in store for this work, and we are filled with joy to see how Lazarus Mission will serve as a vessel for His purpose.
ROOTED IN THE WORD
The Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God, and we teach it verse by verse, the whole counsel of God.
One God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Fully God and fully man. He died for our sins and rose bodily from the grave. He is the resurrection and the life.
We were dead in our sins, and God made us alive together with Christ. Salvation is by grace, through faith, in Jesus alone.
The Spirit lives in every believer and empowers the church for holy living and bold witness.
Jesus is coming again. Until He does, we go and make disciples of all the nations.
FOUNDER & PRESIDENT
Mike founded Lazarus Mission in 2025 to unite churches and individuals in God’s work around the world, and he serves as its president. He has served on the mission field since 2017 and as senior pastor since 2019.
Before being sent out, Mike served as an assistant and youth pastor at a church in Southern California, one of the churches that sent his family to the field.
THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE WORK
MIKE & ROCIO BOOTH
Mike serves as senior pastor. Rocio leads the women’s and children’s ministries. They serve alongside their children, Eliana and Nate.
CAL STUEBNER
Pastor Cal first came in 1999 and moved here in 2003, sensing the Lord’s call, to help with construction and other needs. He led the church as senior pastor from 2006 until 2019, when the Lord moved him to serve as assistant pastor.
JOSUE & KARINA
Pastor Josue teaches the men’s and youth Bible studies, helps lead worship, and carries much of the church’s administration. Karina serves in the school’s administration and in children’s and women’s ministry.
FRANCISCO & VALESKA
Francisco serves as dean of students at the Bible college. Valeska leads our Christian elementary school as principal.
