WHERE NEW LIFE TAKES ROOT
This is the work Lazarus Mission serves in Central America. The church was there long before us, broken and nearly empty, until God brought it back to life. The school has a similar story. The Bible college opened in 2026, and a new ministry to the kids most churches turn away launches this December.

THE HUB OF IT ALL
Our core ministry is the church. It has been our focus since day one. A church in a poor neighborhood, teaching through the Scriptures verse by verse, that was broken and nearly empty for years. It is neither of those things now.
The church is the main hub for all our ministries to function, with constant needs for ministry, staff, events, maintenance, and projects as we keep up with the growth God is giving.
SUPPORT THE CHURCHA CHRISTIAN SCHOOL FOR THE BARRIO
Forty-eight children, preschool through fifth grade, half a block from the church. For many, the first in their family to finish primary school.
Our school is growing, and growth means teachers. Next year we’re adding sixth grade and expect about 60 children. $670 a month supports one teacher completely: her salary, required benefits, and her share of running the school.

TRAINING THE NEXT LEADERS
We are finishing our first year, averaging 25 to 35 students per class. Local men and women are learning to study and teach God’s Word, so leaders can be raised up from within the church.
Our goal is to raise up and train the next and current leaders of our ministries, and Lord willing, send them out. Monthly costs include materials, teachers, and hosting guest teachers.
SUPPORT THE BIBLE COLLEGENO ONE TURNED AWAY
A new ministry to our city’s street-sports culture: a place at the church for skaters and the action sports crowd, ages 11 to 34, a crowd most churches turn away.
It launches December 5 on the church patio with a competition, food, prizes, worship, and a gospel message. We’re building a few ramps, boxes, rails, and two quarter pipes, and opening the doors of our patio so they can sense the open call to come and know Jesus.

SAFE HAVEN INITIATIVE
Renovating and securing the school’s infrastructure: a safe place for the most vulnerable kids in our barrio. Construction begins this December.

MINISTRY HOUSE
The front of the house hosts youth group and men’s studies every week. Finishing the back half and kitchen lets us host teams, interns, and events.
MEET THE LEADERS WHO CARRY THE WORK
Meet the missionaries and national leaders who serve the church, the school, and the Bible college every day.
