Is my donation tax exempt

Yes we are an international missions non-profit organization 501 (c) 3 and all your donations are tax-exempt.

SHould I expect to receive a donations letter after the calendar year for filing my personal taxes?

For all our donors that register their email for their donations, they will receive an automatic confirmation of their tax exempt donation. During the month of January of the following year we email or mail out to all our donors letters indicating their total donations for the previous year. If at any time you need information or a confirmation and you haven’t registered an email or address, please feel free to reach out and we can get you the confirmation directly.

What happens with extra funds in any given account or fund?

Lazarus Mission’s Board will decide how to use those funds in a way that is consistent with Lazarus Mission Inc’s tax-exempt mission.
